WAS I WORTH THE PRICE?
Poem #0017
You died for me, that day on Calvary Hill
You gave your life, then hung quiet and still
You didn’t complain, when they stabbed You with that spear
All You could see was their faces filled with fear

Was I worth, was I worth the price You Paid?
Was I worth, was I worth the sacrifice You Made?
So, tell me my Lord, would You do it all over Again
And was I worth, was I worth the price You Paid

As You look down, I’m sure you’re feeling Sad
For all You asked, was for me to be good not Bad
But just look at me, I’m worse now than Then
So, tell me my Lord, would you do it all over Again

If You give me one, just one more Chance
Just a word a touch, or even a passing Glance
I promise I’ll change, if you hold out your hand to Me
Then You can tell me my Lord, you’d do it all Again
