I’m a woman of Purpose, and I offer God my life
I’m a woman of Purpose, regardless of the strife
I’m a woman of Purpose, and a sinner I might be
I’m a woman of Purpose, and I will spend eternity with thee
God you promised me Hope, and you promised me Love
You said you’d watch over me, from Heaven above
You said you’d come back, and once more leave your throne
You said you’d come back, and take this sinner home
The women before me, each one now a saint
They did what God asked of them, with not one complaint
Every Mary, Martha and Sarah, not one did they mind
They waited on God, with the deaf, dumb, and blind
I’m learning the lessons, I read in His word
I’ll rebuke the devil, and I’ll march undeterred
I won’t give up, until I reach the end
I trust you Lord, and on your promise, I’ll depend
You proved your love, when you sent me your Son
Yes! you made me a promise, that can’t be undone
I can’t with clear conscience say, I’ll never fall
But I’ll live life on Purpose, and wait for your call
