A MOTHER’S LOVE
Poem #0029
Being a Mother, is the hardest job there is
But one that has the power, to heal with a kiss
There are plenty of Bible verses, that talk about their glory
Just look at a new Mothers face, to see the real story

What other job starts with, nine months of carrying?
Then turns into a lifetime, of praying and worrying
Despite this, there is no other calling more rewarding
Mothers show this by being, loving and supporting

Love is patient, love is kind, and it does not envy
It’s older than this world, and it’s not trendy
It does not dishonor others, and it’s not easily angered
It comes from the bible, so it’s well anchored

A Mother’s love is sometimes misunderstood
Because most of us, will never experience Motherhood
A Mother’s love is a gift, it comes from up above
There is nothing in this world, that can match a Mother’s Love
