You said some things that deeply Hurt
You dragged me down, till I was in the Dirt
You said our love was never meant to Be
You said you dismiss me, you need to be Free
But what about me, don’t my feelings Count
For your freedom you said, you’ll pay any Amount
You never tried once, to see through my Eyes
Now all I’m left with are, old promises and Lies
I’m mad and I’m angry, I’ve gone from happy to Sad
And if I could see you hurting, that might make me Glad
But I would never wish that on someone I Love
Because God is watching us, from heaven Above
I’ll ask God today, your memory to Erase
I’ll accept His true love, and His redeeming Grace
I’ll keep you my love, in my prayers you will Linger
Then I’ll thank the Lord above, for removing my Anger
