It says in the Bible, you got to believe
It says in the Bible, that you will be deceived
It says in the Bible, to sing His name in song
So help me Lord, to know right or wrong
When God made the earth, He took His time
He said to His Angels, I’m going to create mankind
Little did He know, that when He made man
That’s when the troubles, of this world began
First God made man, then He made him a mate
He gave them a garden, just inside the Golden Gate
They soon got bored, and to the devil they did speak
They lost their right to heaven, because they were weak
Before Adam and Eve, knew what they had done
They were leaving paradise, they were on the run
As they stood on the mountain, and looked up at the sky
They bowed their heads, and said why, why, why
It’s been a million years, and we still don’t know
Why Adam and Eve, chose this world down below
So, God sent His only Son, to set us free
Then He made a place in Heaven, for you and me
