Imagine the would-be disciples, looking up from their nets
To hear Jesus saying, follow me and you’ll have few regrets
Can you imagine the hesitation, if only for a moment?
Because everything will change, they’ll live a life of atonement
The excitement in their faces, would surely tell a tale
That they weren’t strong in their faith, their minds were very frail
None of them knew, what the future would hold
They would need blind faith, as they watch their new lives unfold
When we think about, all the things we’re doing
Are we keeping our old ways, or are we open to renewing?
We need to create a bridge, to join our hearts and minds
And believe in God’s promises, as our tangled life unwinds
We need to follow Jesus, He’ll make us “Fishers of Men”
We need God’s strength inside us, before the battle we can win
When we say we believe in God, they say we’re old fashion
But we know what awaits us, and they can “Only Imagine”
