NO FEAR

God actually commands us, not to fear or worry
And never use excuses like, I’m late or in a hurry
The devil will use our fear, to decrease our hope
But just bring your fear to the Lord, and He’ll help you cope

Fear can cause each of us, to lose our peace and joy
It’s part of the evil one’s plan, kill, steal, and destroy
God says, do not be afraid, and do not be discouraged
Trust in His love and His word, and you will be encouraged

When you’re full of fear, from a challenge or situation
Just turn to God, and He’ll eliminate your frustration
When you encounter, painful moments in your life
Take them to the cross, and God will remove all the strife

I’ll never forget the night I cried, in that fetal position
Lying there helpless, on the floor of my kitchen
Then I felt the presence, of God’s love and comfort
Then I was able to stand up, with very little effort

I have redeemed you, and I’ve called you by name
So, don’t spend one more moment, feeling fear, guilt or shame
I told you in My Word, that love casts out all fear
That means that I will protect you, and all you hold Dear
