Those unsung heroes, who are always There
They first show true love, then they show that they Care
They have a great attitude, it’s an example for All
They’re ready to serve, and to answer the Call
They just stepped up, and took on the Burden
Knowing they’d spend days, confused and Uncertain
They serve their love-ones, who are now helpless and Frail
They remember their childhoods, each one in Detail
They thank you for saying, you’re doing a great Job
But then they will ask you, what makes your heart Throb
Just let your mind wander, to those earlier Days
Then stand up and be counted, that’s what the Bible Says
This is not the time to sit back and Ponder
It’s time to join in, your time not to Squander
God knows what you’re doing, He wants you to Deliver
So just step up to the plate, and support a Caregiver
